Resurfacing Methods
Two Methods of Refinishing Fixtures
There are two different methods available to resurface/refinish fixtures: The SPRAY METHOD and the NO SPRAY METHOD. We will tell you about both methods and give you the details on each so that you can decide which is best for you.
Spray Method
There are two different Spray Methods available. Each method is different in application and content.
Both methods require the same type of preparation by the technician. The Tub is thoroughly cleaned and Etched with an acid base etch. This removes any stains and "shine" on the tub.
After the cleaning and etching process either an Acrylic Polymer or an Acrylic Enamel is sprayed on the tub.
Characteristics Polymer Enamel

No Spray Method
No Paint No Odor No Mess No Drying Time No Overspray LIFETIME WARRANTY
Sounds too good to be true...but it is. The No-Spray Method is a breakthrough in tub refinishing. Now tubs and fixtures can be resurfaced without all the odor, over spray, mess and long waits before being used.
The No-Spray method uses a clear Urethane as the "Seal Coat". Our Urethane coated tubs carry a LIFETIME WARRANTY! How many refinishers can give you a LIFETIME WARRANTY against peeling, chipping, flaking or cracking? Most refinishers offer a 1-5 year limited warranty.
The tub is cleaned and etched just as the Spray method. After this several coats of the urethane sealer are applied with an applicator pad.
One advantage using the No-Spray method is it virtually eliminates the need to ever have your Bathtub refinished by a professional again. This is because it is a simple procedure of re-applying the urethane top coat. It's as simple as pouring about one ounce of "top coat" on an applicator pad and wiping on! Can't get much easier.
Characteristics Urethane Dry Time 1-3 hrs Odor None Repairable by Homeowner Yes Warranty Lifetime ISOCYANATE No Over spray No Color Change No Finish Satin (low shine)
